Some of my friends are coming over tomorrow so I've got peanut butter brownies in the oven right now.

I had the blood work done this morning and got some pills at the pharmacy this afternoon. I just hope it isn't like when I first got arthritis and they put me on meds and then the arthrtis came right the fuck back and the stupid doctor didn't bother telling me that was going to happen. (she KNEW the meds she gave me at the time were just supposed to temporarily relieve the symptoms but chose to allow me to think it was some sort of cure. Thank fuck I'm not going to her anymore.) It also occurred to me I may have gotten that pain from using my cane on the wrong side so I switched to see if that helps.
Two very good surprises. I got a call from L. last night and we went out and had a good time and I don't have to pay my electric bill this month because the check was late last month so I paid it over the phone and they gave me a double credit.

They had me take X rays at the doctor and tomorrow I have to do an ultrasound and it's one of those deals where they starve you beforehand. Ugghh. At least Uber will pick me up and take me back home afterwards. I haven't heard back about the results of the X rays yet and I'm too tired to walk to the pharmacy to get the muscle relaxants.

Had an interesting and fun weekend. Two of my neighbors I like showed up to the apt bldg party, I hung out at some friends' new house Saturday and another friend of mine and I went to my favorite hero sandwich place for lunch and then went to the Japanese tea garden.

One thing last night that was not great was the entire electronic card payment system on Bart screwed up so nobody could put more money on those cards, and for those of you reading this who are not from the bay area, all the buses and stuff use those cards, not just Bart. I called their office this morning and the people I talked to weren't even aware there was a problem, so who knows when this is gonna get fixed, in the meantime I only have 2 dollars left on my card which isn't even enough to get on the damn bus.

Had a great time with my friends at dinner last night except when I was trying to leave the restaurant and some man would not move his baby out of the way, it was a very narrow passage between two tables and I do not think he should be letting the baby block it like that.
Apparently at about 5 this morning I was dead asleep when L. texted me asking me to call before going over to their house. I called her a little after one in the afternoon and she never answered the phone so I assumed she was still asleep (I hadn't even known in advance that she was coming back today) and left a message and didn't go to her house. I have not heard back from her.
